Instructions for FTP'ing with Internet Explorer

For Pioneer Internet Users Only

After you have your webpage designed and/or images ready, it is time to upload to the server.

Open your Internet Explorer browser
In the Address bar, type in: ftp://users.pld.com . Hit Enter
You should then see a dialog box pop up, prompting you for a username and password.
In the User Name field: type your user id for your internet account
In the Password field: type your email password for your master account
Click the LogOn button.
IE 7 will display a list of files and folders from the FTP site.
To manage the remote and local files more easily,
Click the 'Page' menu button on the right-hand side of the IE 7 browser window and select the option "Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer"
You may once again receive a dialog box prompting you for your username and password.
Fill in your username and password and click LonOn. At this point you should see a "homepage" folder, (if you don't...please contact webmaster@pld.com).
Open the "homepage" folder.
You can now drag and drop the files from the remote FTP server to your local file system easily.
